Excellent clear advice given in a friendly manner

I cannot thank professor Kocher enough… my mother was undergoing treatment through nhs only to be told they would not proceed with the ‘plan’ And to see how the cancer grows! We then went private and with the upmost professionalism professor has given us the best news today

It wasn’t clear from the outside that 114 and 116 lead to the same building. 114 has a ramp, but 116 only stairs and I am currently using a wheelchair as I’m recovering from knee surgery.

Kocher review I was so lucky to have Prof Hemant Kocher perform the gallbladder removal keyhole surgery on me early Jan 2023. My experience with him was fantastic throughout and he changed my life! He is very knowledgeable and approachable, and to my surprise always responsive in email. In my first consultation, he explained my condition and treatment options clearly and simply, as well as answered all my questions patiently. He also provided me with detailed information of my condition, gallbladder removal surgery and after care. He is extremely efficient communicating with me and his team regarding to my surgery. I felt reassured and cared for every time I spoke with him. I originally chose a later date for my surgery as it wasn’t urgent. However my condition worsened just before Christmas. I tried my luck to ask Prof Kocher if it was possible to bring my surgery forward, and he said yes instantly. I was so grateful. I find it so thoughtful that he arranges surgeries on Friday, so family or friends can take care of his patients on Saturday without taking time off. My surgery went very well. To my surprise almost painless. The cuts were very well considered cosmetically so they would leave minimal scars. Prof Kocher puts my well-being first and took great care of me throughout my experience. I can’t thank him enough to give my normal life back.

We were very happy with the experience we had with Prof. Kocher. The professor made us feel at ease straight away. He is highly competent, and very helpful, he listens to the patient and gives very clear explanations and advice. His nurse is also helpful. Highly recommended.

Dr Kocher was great! I had pain in my shoulder from a gallstone and he had me in for surgery less than 1 week later. Feeling great after the surgery, it was much easier that I expected.

Professor Kocher is good at explaining his reasoning behind his decisions. Talking through scans etc. Honesty, integrity but also good communication makes a big difference to someone like me with stage iv cancer.

Prof Kocher is an amazing doctor. The best one I could find for my pancreas. He's the only person that diagnosed me quickly (after 5 years of symptoms) and he conducted a complex surgery and I had zero complications after. He's amazing and is the only doc I'll see for my pancreas
