Highly recommend, the surgery / procedure has changed my life, wished i had done it sooner.

I'm a healthy 35-year-old male who underwent a Nissen Fundoplication for a hiatal hernia. Not typical for my health and age! Professor Akhtar, the best in the country for this procedure, ensured a perfectly smooth operation. Since then, I've had no issues. Best decision ever.

Professor Akhtar was knowledgable, kind and patient. He explained everything in a clear manner and within a week of having my gallbladder removed I felt much better, and within 2 weeks mostly back to normal and back driving. No issues, no complications. Would 100% recommend

I had a hernia surgery. It turned out I got a small infection about a week afterward and Prof AKHTAR and the team were straight on it. I had a fast appointment and was given antibiotics and monitored with follow ups. Can’t fault the way they work.

I went to see Professor Akhtar and within 2 weeks had my operation to sort out my Achalasia problem and could not be happier with the speed I was seen and the outcome and I’m only 3 weeks post operation yesterday

I received first rate service for my hernia operation as is reflected in the star ratings above. The one comment is that on the day of the operation before I was discharged at around 6pm, it would have been beneficial to have had 3/4 minutes with Prof Akhtar to discuss my op etc.

I had a large and complex spigelian hernia for years. Prof Akhtar calmly assessed the problem and implications then gave me a clear understanding of what was involved. The surgery was incredibly neat with a really positive outcome that has transformed my day-to-day life.
