Our consultation with Prof. Garrard had a very calming effect on both of us as we arrived with considerable uncertainties as to where we were with an Altzheimer’s diagnosis. All these were removed and we now have a clear path forward to deal with the immediate future.

Professor Garrard is very comfortable to be with. His gentle approach immediately puts one at their ease and after a session with him one comes away feeling at ease and relaxed.

Prof Garrard is a very good listener, he took time to answer all my questions. Good agreement on next steps.

Professor Garrard was thorough, thoughtful and empathetic. Beforehand, locally, we had an unclear diagnosis with a lead in time of 12 months to get get a proper diagnostic assessment. Prof. Garrard provided a diagnosis and also prescribed meds so we feel we are now ahead of the game.

On time, friendly, knowledgeable

Prof. Garrard's expertise is apparent within minutes of speaking to him. I found the consultation to be invaluable and incredibly reassuring. The process (including communications with his lovely PA, Tara) as well as the booking process and e-con process were seamless.

We found Professor Garrard extremely pleasant and easy to get along with. He was very thorough without being threatening in any way and he clearly knew his subject. We would be more than happy to recommend him to anyone.

Professor Garrard was kind, gentle and very professional. Everything was explained clearly and he spent time listening to me. He gave me renewed confidence, Everything was positive whereas there had only been negatives before. E-consultation, I look forward to meeting him soon.

From our first meeting with Professor Garrard we knew my Mum was in safe hands. He made Mum feel relaxed and ensured that we all understood the treatment and Alzheimer’s. Mum so far is thriving and we are so thankful we have Mum under Peters care.

Finding and consulting with Professor Garrard has been a huge relief. He is a kind and compassionate man possessing extraordinary patience, which made talking to him about difficult subjects remarkably easy. He has the rare gift of being able to find things out which one would otherwise forget and took meticulous care discovering everything he could about the nature of my problem. He gave an excellent and thorough analysis of my scans with visual aids that were marvellously helpful to my understanding my position. Nothing was too much trouble for Professor Garrard, and I felt profoundly reassured and supported by an eminent clinician whose knowledge in his field is second to none.
