Dr Albert Power is a leading consultant nephrologist in Bristol and Bath who specialises in glomerular disease, lupus nephritis, hypertension, dialysis, chronic kidney disease and acute renal care.
Dr Power graduated from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge and completed his nephrology training at the Hammersmith Hospital, London. He was awarded an MD in nephrology at Imperial College London and remains active in clinical research with a special interest in end-stage renal disease.
He works as Consultant Nephrologist at the Richard Bright Renal Unit in Southmead Hospital, Bristol and is Clinical Lead for Haemodialysis and Clinical Research. He is also the Strategic Director for the Vascular, Renal & Transplant Networks, at North Bristol NHS Trust.
Dr Power also has comprehensive experience in the management of live and deceased donor renal transplantation, whole organ pancreatic transplantation and the provision of renal input in acute and critical care settings.
