Dr Ali Hamaad is a highly-skilled consultant cardiologist who has vast extensive knowledge about the majority of cardiovascular conditions. His specialist treatments involve heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias (particularly atrial fibrillation), blackouts, fainting, and syncope.
Dr Hamaad graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1999. His specialist training continued in the form of the West Midlands cardiology training programme and at the University Hospital North Staffordshire.
As well as working as a consultant cardiologist at the Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust since 2010, Dr Hamaad has two private practices; one at the BMI The Priory Hospital in Birmingham and the other is Spire Little Aston, Sutton, Coldfield.
His extensive training has made him highly specialised in heart failure, pacemakers and heart rhythm disturbances, he is an expert in many procedures such as ECG (electrocardiogram) interpretation, cardiac catheterisation, echocardiography (heart scanning), as well as simple and complex pacemaker implantation.
