Professor Andrew Kuczmierczyk is an expert clinical psychologist based in St Albans and Welwyn Garden City. He specialises in cognitive behavioural therapy, pain management, chronic fatigue syndromes, anxiety disorders and eating disorders.
Professor Kuczmierczyk obtained his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Georgia in the United States in 1984. He then practised as an assistant professor of psychiatry at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine until 1994 when he became a senior lecturer and director of the MSc Health Psychology programme at City University in London.
As well as specialising in a broad range of psychological disorders, he also has a special interest in womens' reproductive health, gynaecological disorders and psychophysiological disorders.
Mr Kuczmierczyk is a member of the British Psychological Society, Health Professions Council and the Royal Society of Medicine. He currently practises at the New QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City and his private practice in St Albans.
