Dr Azlan Luk is a consultant psychiatrist based in Windsor, Reading and Esher, specialising in treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD. He practices privately at the Cardinal Clinic in Windsor, Berkshire Wellbeing Clinic in Theale and Esher Groves in Esher, and also works part-time for the NHS. During his career, he has been involved in a variety of psychiatric roles, including acute inpatient services, home treatment teams, community services, liaison psychiatry in a general hospital, and assertive outreach services.
Qualifying from the University of Nottingham in 1997, Dr Luk undertook training in general medicine in Essex, before undertaking accredited basic psychiatric training in the Nottingham area. This was followed by higher training in general adult psychiatry on the Oxford Deanery Higher Training Scheme. He holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (Behavioural Sciences), Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (BM.BS) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry with merit; all from the University of Nottingham. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych).
Dr Luk assesses and manages all major adult mental disorders. He employs a collaborative, holistic and pragmatic approach to treating his patients and helping them on the road to recovery.
