Mr Christopher Thorn is a respected consultant general and colorectal surgeon based in Swindon, who specialises in proctology, colonoscopy and haemorrhoids alongside colon and rectal cancer, hernia repair and functional bowel disease. Mr Thorn, who has an MBBS from the University of London and an MD from the University of Leeds, is fellowship trained by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He has also lectured and taught laparoscopic skills both on an national and international basis.
Mr Thorn's research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and publications, and he's also a member of various professional organisations including St Mark's Association, The Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) and the General Medical Council. He's also a member of the European Federation - International Digestive Surgery (EFISDS).
