Professor Gideon Lack is a consultant in allergy and immunology with his specialties ranging from adult to paediatric care. He specialises in asthma, allergies, anaphylaxis, immunity and infection, paediatric immunology and paediatric allergies.
Professor Lack qualified in medicine from Oxford University and proceeded to train as a paediatrician for four years in New York and another four years in Denver, Colorado. He is a professor and head of paediatric allergy at King's College, London.
He has contributed greatly to research regarding severe childhood asthma, food allergies, the treatment and prevention of food allergies, eczema and hayfever in children and adults.
