Professional statement
Mr Giuseppe Serpieri is a highly respected vascular surgeon who specialises in a range of cosmetic procedures such as cosmetic vein surgery, dermal threads and laser liposuction. Mr Serpieri is internationally renowned for his development and use of innovative techniques and technology and is one of very few surgeons who offer procedures using super glue as a closer of the veins.
Mr Serpieri was awarded his MD in 1986 and attaining a specialist qualification as cardiac and vascular surgeon in 1991 at the University of Turin. Since 1995, he has performed cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation and body contouring using the most up-to-date techniques with excellent patient outcomes. In 2004, he invented the transilluminated endovenous laser coagulation technique (TELC), a cutting edge treatment for varicose veins that is now widely used.
Mr Serpieri lectures post-graduate masters students of aesthetic medicine at the University of Pavia, Italy. His research interets focus on innovative technology for leg, foot and hand vein care, with a focus on minimally invasive techniques as well as 'soft' cosmetic procedures for the face and body.
