Mr Hamid Abboudi is a leading consultant urological surgeon based in London. His areas of expertise include kidney stones, benign prostate diseases such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, recurrent urinary tract infections, and bladder cancer. Mr Abboudi consults privately at New Victoria Hospital.
Mr Abboudi achieved his MBBS from St George’s University of London, following an intercalated BSc from the same institution. He completed his higher specialty training in urology in North London, which included a fellowship year at the prestigious Institute of Urology, University College London Hospitals.
During his fellowship year, Mr Abboudi was also honoured with the distinguished British Association of Urology travelling fellowship grant. Mr Abboudi used this opportunity to visit the Columbia University Medical Centre and the Centre for Minimally Invasive Endourology at Global Rainbow Hospital, where he acquired proficiency in the treatment of complex kidney stone disease.
