Mr James Davis has been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon for 17 years, based in London and South West England. He specialises in the treatment of foot and ankle disorders, including primary and revision ankle replacements, foot and ankle arthritis, metatarsalgia, sports injuries, and deformities of the foot and ankle.

Mr Davis graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1990, going on to complete his specialist training in the South West Thames region. He completed fellowship training at the highly-regarded John Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA. After his return to the UK, Mr Davis established a specialist foot and ankle service in South Devon, along with running a non-union and lower limb deformity correction service.

He has extensive experience in all adult foot and ankle disorders, and has published frequently in his field. Mr Davis is chairman of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society's (BOFAS) education committee, he is a senior examiner for the FRCS (Tr + Orth) exam and has been the training programme director for the South West Orthopaedic training rotation. He is an invited reviewer for articles submitted to the Bone and joint journal (BJJ) and Injury. He is regularly invited to speak internationally on disorders of the foot and ankle.
