Mr Julian Flynn is regarded as a compassionate, technically excellent trauma and orthopaedic surgeon in Milton Keynes and is the senior knee surgeon in Milton Keynes, specialising in minimally invasive partial knee replacements and knee ligament reconstruction. His practice covers lower limb arthritis, sports injuries and delaying the requirement for a joint replacement where possible. Mr Flynn has expertise in arthroscopic and minimally invasive knee surgery and on managing arthritis in younger patients.
He trained as an undergraduate at Oriel College, Oxford and St Mary’s Hospital, London before completing his junior surgical training in London. Mr Flynn then completed his orthopaedic training program back in Oxford. He also completed dual fellowships in knee surgery and sports surgery in Melbourne, Australia followed by a paediatric fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children Toronto, Canada.
Mr Flynn is one of only 34 knee surgeons in the UK who performs more than 50 unicondylar knee replacements a year and is one of 14 consultants on the national register performing more than 10 patellofemoral joint replacements a year. He is well-regarded for his honest and clear consultations, and for achieving excellent results aiming to meet patients aspirations and expectations.
