Dr Kevin Pankhurst is a highly-experienced and respected consultant psychiatrist based in Windsor and Esher, Surrey, who specialises in adult ADHD, depression and anxiety alongside self harm, managing intense emotions and alcohol addiction. He privately practises at Cardinal Clinic, Esher Groves Private Clinic and his own practice, Pankhurst Psychiatry. His NHS base is Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust where he is a consultant psychiatrist for Surrey Health Community Mental Health Recovery Service.

Dr Pankhurst is committed to holistic care, adopting a combination of approaches to his practise. It takes in psychological, biological and social angles, while establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with his patients where he actively participates in their treatment plans.

Dr Pankhurst, who also treats substance issuesaddictive and risky behaviours and bipolar disorders as well as stress, work-related stress and psychotic and psychological disorders, has 15 years of psychiatry experience, working both in the community and for inpatient/acute services. His therapy is supportive, where he focusses on managing personal circumstances and building self-resilience, integral to the healing and recovery process. He prescribes medication in accordance with evidence-based treatments where necessary, increasing effective results and outcomes.  

Dr Pankhurst has various esteemed qualifications including a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) and a Masters of Medicine (Psychiatry) (M.Med Psychiatry). His impressive education is complemented by his medical experience alongside his teaching work with NHS trainees as a clinical and educational supervisor.  

He is also a member of various professional organisations including the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych), British Association of Psychopharmacology (BAP) and British Medical Association (BMA) as well as European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP).
