Dr Manju Chandiramani is a consultant obstetrician based in central London. She specialises in general obstetrics, high-risk obstetrics and diabetes and pregnancy alongside preterm birth prediction, preterm birth prevention and cervical cerclage. She privately practices at the Westminster Maternity Suite at St Thomas' as well as the Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Chandiramani, who has over 15 years of experience as a practising obstetrician, prides herself in working closely with women by providing holistic care for those who have low and and high-risk pregnancies. She is highly skilled in assisting women to remain in control and feel confident in their choice of birth plan, tailoring her expert assistance to their individual expectations. Her aim is to work with her patients in a flexible manner where she listens and understands them so she can personalise their pregnancy journey and guide them through every step.

Dr Chandiramani, who has a BSc (Hons) from Tufts University in Massachusetts in the United States, graduated from Leicester University in 2002 with an MBBS. She then completed her obstetrics and gynaecology training at top-class centres including Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust) and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Dr Chandiramani's clinical expertise in providing specialist care for women at risk of preterm birth, those having had previous pregnancy losses and patients with gestational diabetes, is reflected in her professional management roles. She leads in optimising the preparation of babies at risk of being born too early, giving them the optimal chance in being able to have better beginnings and healthier lives.

Dr Chandiramani is an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the School of Life Course Sciences at King's College London and her research interests, which have been published in various peer-reviewed journals, involve the prediction and prevention of preterm birth. 

She is also an active member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), the British Maternal & Fetal Medicine Society (BMFM) and International Society of Obstetric Medicine (ISOM) alongside the British Medical Association (BMA).
