Mr Michael Craigen is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon, who specialises in hand surgery, wrist surgery, arthroscopy, upper limb spasticity, arthritis, and elbow surgery. He also manages the more common hand conditions including nerve compression and trigger fingers. Mr Craigen qualified at Guys Hospital in 1982. His specialist training was gained in Aberdeen, Glasgow and South Hampton.

Mr Craigen underwent hand fellowships in Wrightington Hospital UK, and Louisville and Mississippi USA. He was a consultant in Nottingham for two years before starting at The Royal Orthopaedic and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals.
