Dr Michael Markiewicz is a respected consultant paediatrician based in London. Well versed in all aspects of general paediatric medicine, he is an expert in childhood asthma, rheumatological disorders, and complex allergies, including skin conditions. He is the Named Doctor for Child Protection at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital, London, and has a wide range of experience with children and babies (including those born prematurely).
Dr Markiewicz trained at St Mary's Hospital Medical School, graduating from the University of London in 1982. He went on to become a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), before becoming a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Physicians (FRCP) in 2003. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH).
