Mr Mohamed Ahmed is an expert orthopaedic surgeon specialising in spinal surgery. He is based in Harley Street (London), The Holly Private Hospital (Essex), Rivers Hospital and One Hatfield Hospital (both in Hertfordshire). He treats degenerative conditions of the spine, spinal deformity, trauma, and infections, performing procedures such as spinal injections, spinal fusion, and spinal decompression.
Mr Ahmed graduated from the University of Khartoum in the Sudan, before undergoing basic surgical training and specialist registrar training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Norway. After this, he completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at Cardiff University Hospital, gaining experience treating a variety of conditions and performing all sorts of spinal procedures.
Since then, Mr Ahmed has practised at a number of locations, including the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he is actively involved in developing and expanding the spinal unit. He is involved in teaching and his research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented both nationally and internationally.
