Dr Momin Ahmed is a consultant haematologist based at the Royal Free Hospital. He trained in haematology from Bart’s and the London hospitals. Post accreditation he worked at many London hospitals gaining experience in blood disorders like myelodysplasia, chronic leukaemias, such as CLL, and other malignancies like lymphomas and myelomas.
He has conducted full-time research at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine (2001-2004), completing his Ph.D thesis in Molecular Haematology. He is widely published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.
Following on from his research, he is currently active in rare anaemias, nutritional deficiencies/fatigue syndromes and personalised medicine.
