Dr Nawaz Walji is a higly skilled clinical oncologist based in Birmingham and Warwickshire. He specialises in the non-surgical treatment of early and advanced breast cancer and gynaecological cancers, offering treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy including brachytherapy, endocrine therapy, targeted therapies and bisphosphonates.
Dr Walji graduated in medicine from the University of Birmingham. After becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR), he completed further training in clinical oncology with a specialist interest in breast and gynaecological cancers. He also completed a Diploma in Medical Education (Dip Med Ed) at the University of Warwick and is still involved in health education in the West Midlands in his capacity as Training Programme Director and Chair of the Higher Specialist Training Committee.
Dr Walji has written several peer-reviewed articles for journals as well as book chapters. He has presented his work at a number of both national and international meetings.
