Mr Ross Fawdington is an esteemed consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with a wealth of experience in his field. He privately practises at The Harborne Hospital.
After graduating from the University of Manchester in 2005, he embarked on specialist orthopaedic training through the Oswestry/Stoke training programme. To further refine his skills, Mr Fawdington completed dual fellowships, which include advanced ortho-plastic trauma and a prestigious training interface group fellowship in hand surgery. Additionally, he holds a postgraduate diploma in hand surgery.
His dedication to advancing his expertise was highlighted in 2017 when he was awarded the BOA Clinical Leaders Programme Fellowship, sponsored by the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH), and received the renowned Stack travelling fellowship from the same society.
Mr Fawdington is also a passionate advocate for medical education. As a member of the faculty of surgical trainers at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he shares his knowledge and skills with future surgeons. He holds an honorary clinical lecturer position at Keele University and has independently organised multiple cadaveric surgical simulation and anatomy courses, providing hands-on learning for trainees in the West Midlands.
