Mr Tafadzwa Young-Zvandasara is a leading consultant ophthalmic surgeon based in Newcastle upon Tyne. His areas of expertise include macular holes, retinal detachment, epiretinal membranes, diabetic eye disease complications, eye floaters, and surgical retina conditions. He is highly proficient in vitreoretinal surgery and cataract surgery.
Mr Young-Zvandasara consults privately at MY Eye Clinic. Since 2020, he also holds a consultant position at Newcastle Eye Centre and he additionally served as the clinical lead for the North of Tyneside and Gateshead Diabetic Eye Screening Programme from 2020 to 2023.
With over 15 years of experience, Mr Young-Zvandasara originally qualified with an MBChB from the University of Dundee.
