Furthermore, she has a PG Certificate in Healthcare Management from the University of Manchester. 

Miss Sivagnanavel, whose further clinical interests including inflammatory eye disease and all aspects of medical retina, trained at King's College Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital and was awarded an MD (Res) from the University of London for her research into age-related macular degeneration and retinal imaging.

She is an active member of various organisations including the British Medical Association (BMA) and is a fellow of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth). Alongside this prestigious fellowship, she was selected for the Darzi Fellowship, has presented at international and national conferences and her research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals.

Miss Sivagnanavel is keenly involved in music-centred projects. She was the founder of the European medical students' orchestra and choir and has collaborated with visually-impaired musicians for a research project where she was the medical advisor.

Miss Siva is absolutely excellent. Her caring sensitive manner was so appreciated. Not only did Miss Siva understand my eye problems but she was incredibly thorough in her exam and advice and made me feel as though I was important to her as a patient.
