Ms Veronica Grassi is a board-certified consultant oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgeon with 15 years' experience and has performed over 5000 operations. Her areas of expertise include breast lumps , nipple discharge , breast reconstruction following mastectomy , oncoplastic breast surgery , breast pain and both breast augmentation and reduction .

Ms Grassi graduated and obtained a specialty in general surgery at the prestigious University of Milan, Italy. During her training, she spent time at the CHBT in Guadeloupe and Hospital Jean Verdier in Paris, as well as in some of the best hospitals in Italy, including the National Institute of Cancer, Policlinico di Milano and the Modena Liver Transplant Center. After moving to the UK in 2009, Ms Grassi continued her training in hospitals such as Guy's and St Thomas', Broomfield and Queen Elizabeth in Birmingham and Burton where she obtained her fellowship in oncoplastic breast surgery. In 2014, she became a consultant at King's College Hospital in London, before moving to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2016, where she has been the Service Lead of the Breast Unit.

Ms Grassi regularly visits international centers, meetings and conferences, having a keen curiosity and open mind to offer to her patients the latest and best treatments. She follows her patients throughout the whole journey - from the diagnosis and discussion of the best treatment options until the regular follow-up when required. She takes a collaborative approach when offering treatment, putting each patient at ease to decide the best and safest surgical procedures that minimize both the physical and psychological impact of the disease.
