Infección en el oído

Una infección del oído ocurre cuando hay una infección viral o bacteriana dentro del oído medio, que se encuentra justo detrás del tímpano. Las infecciones del oído pueden ser agudas o crónicas y son comunes en bebés y niños. Los síntomas de una infección de oído incluyen dolor o molestias en el oído, secreción parecida a pus, pérdida de audición y en niños más pequeños pueden volverse irritables.
