Dr Mike Dennis is an established consultant haematologist based in Greater Manchester, who specialises in myeloid disease, leukaemias, myeloproliferative disorders and bone marrow transplantation.

Dr Dennis qualified in medicine from the University of Dundee in 1991 and completed his physician's training in Liverpool before undertaking his first haematology post in Australia. His first appointment back in the UK was at The Christie, Manchester in 1996. He then completed his haematology training, including MD from the University of Liverpool. Dr Dennis was appointed consultant haematologist at The Christie in 2004, where he is also now Director of the Haematology and Transplant Unit. 

Dr Dennis is a member of the British Society for Haematology, the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of Pathologists and the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT).
