I had a foot operation and Mr Ajis made it easy for me. I had necessary pre surgery appointments organised and the procedure thoroughly explained I was looked after all the way through and the operation was a success and I had zero pain after. I highly recommend him

Mr Ajis is a very experienced and highly skilled surgeon. He has performed bunion correction on both of my feet and I cannot speak highly enough of the care I have received and the excellent results.

I would recommend Mr Ajis to people who have ankle problems, very professional and does call to make sure you are getting along after the injection, so its 10/10 from me .

The most professional doctor I have had the experience of using, excellent pre and post op care as well as a perfectly performed surgery.

I am completely happy with the outcome of the operation, but wasn't pleased with the time spent with Mr Ajis I felt the appointments wereI rushed, and found Mr Ajis to be very cold and abrupt.

There is certainly a fine balance to be struck between keeping a busy clinic running to time and ensuring everyone feels they have enough time with me to fully address all queries. I am so sorry I got it wrong on this occasion and will try harder in the future to meet expectations. From the onset of the ankle deterioration, Mr. Ajis has been thorough in diagnosis and treatment. Kept me fully informed of all options and advised of a way forward enabling to live and work throughout the process.

Mr. Ajis was very pleasant to talk to and put me at ease immediately. He investigated my problem thoroughly and calmly and suggested a course of action to alleviate my condition.

I was most impressed with Consultant Surgeon Mr Adam Ajis as within minutes in my first consultation, Mr Ajis identified from the original X-ray, and examining my foot, that I had a Morton’s Neuroma. Previously undiagnosed at a Podiatry Unit. It was a relief that my problem was identified, and so quickly. I am happy to say that I have now had this Morton’s Neuroma successfully removed by Mr Ajis. I could not be more pleased with the end result, or the treatment I had under Mr Ajis and the most caring and attentive Staff at Goring Hall Hospital.

After seeing a number of different doctors and raising a number of complaints with the hospital that no one was helping you in the middle of our first lockdown, I agreed to see you earlier than scheduled. I then had to perform an operative procedure (when no elective operating lists were available) which eventually led to your cure. When we first met you were in agony and confined to a wheel chair. At our last consultation you walked in without even a limp. I am finding it difficult to understand why it is you felt I was rude

Mr Adam Ajis was highly recommended to me by several friends/colleagues. The entire experience was perfect and I'm now making a great recovery. All the explanations made sense and he was there for me all the way to recovery. Sandra also super helpful. Have absolutely no hesitation to highly recommend seeing him, I'd go nowhere else.

Mr Adam Ajis has been an excellent consultant from my first appointment and throughout. I felt very assured I was in good hands, he had been highly recommended to me from friends and glad he was my consultant. He explained everything so very clearly and was there for any questions after my op. Sandra his Assistant was also super helpful. Nothing was a problem and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him. Any injury is daunting and he fully understood and was with me every step of the way.

Although I had to wait several months before my total ankle replacement surgery, I am very pleased with the result. My operation was explained well by Mr Ajis and from the time I came round in recovery afterwards, I have experienced no pain at all. Prior to the operation I was in considerable pain for many months, so to be able to walk pain free now is wonderful. Post operation was limiting with a plaster case for three weeks and then the special boot for another five weeks, but at the end I can walk normally and without pain. I am now undergoing phyiso to strengthen my muscles and look forward to long walks again. I can only express my thanks and gratitude to Mr Ajis and his team for the new life this operation had given me.

Our son has learning disabilities and we were all very nervous about how our son was going to re-act to his treatment. We made Dr Ajis and his team aware of his difficulties and the service we received was excellent. Everyone engaged with our son in an exceptional way making sure he was ok with every eventuality and cared for him in such a lovely way. I am also sure that they will never forget him as he related to all staff in a very lovely manor. All credit to the team at Goring Hall the operation went very well and the result was excellent.

I went to Bognor War Memorial hospital on the advice of my GP practice because I had pain in my foot and could not walk properly. I was advised an M R I scan and to go back for a referral by my GP. I was then advised only physiotherapy could refer me. Physiotherapy told me that it would be months before I was seen if I was ever seen. I turned to Mr Ajis. He immediately knew the problem and his diagnosis was correct verified by MR I a stress fracture of the cuboid bone . He offered me a new operation filling the fracture A sub Chondroplasty. Prior to the Op I wore a boot to help me walk. A week after the operation I continued with the boot. I gradually mobilised and three weeks after the operation went on holiday. I needed assistance at the airport. 3 1/2 weeks later on my return I needed no such assistance and was walking comfortably. Eight weeks postop I do at least 10,000 steps a day and consider myself pretty much back to normal . Thank you Mr Ajis.

Mr Ajis identified what was causing my discomfort at my initial consultation. He immediately arranged an appointment to have my procedure completed. On the day of my operation he met with me to explain the process. He fully explained my procedure from start to the finish and my recovery time. This made everything clear and understandable.

I knew Mr Ajis had a good reputation as a surgeon and I was not disappointed! He explained the Achilles repair procedure fully and provided excellent care whilst I was admitted. During my subsequent follow up visits Mr Ajis goes to great lengths to make sure you understand each stage of the recovery and it’s down to him that I have made such a quick recovery. Nothing is too much trouble and I know I can refer back to him if I have any queries. I would highly recommend Mr Ajis and I thank him for such a successful outcome.

After 6 months of acute Achilles tendon pain and my NHS GP taking no action other than instructing me to rest / re-frame from physical activity I was referred to Mr Adam Ajis via my private medical cover. My experience has been excellent from the very first appointment where I was diagnosed as requiring operations on both (quite a shock to me), throughout to where I am today, fully recovered and just about to return to sport after 12 months. Mr Adam Ajis always provided a clear explanation of what was happening, why and how. Always able and happy to answer my questions when they arouse. I felt Mr Ajis really understood my concerns and helped guide through the past 12 months. I really appreciated the fact that after both operations Mr Ajis came to see me the morning after to talk through how the operation had progressed. This for me, a man who likes to always be in control and clearly could not be in this situation was a great help.

My replacement ankle operations performed by Mr Ajis was very successful. After 14 weeks I am walking with no limp for the first time in many years . I am playing golf again and with my hobby of walking , I'm up on the South Downs way again. I'm very pleased with with the result of my ankle operation and would recommend Mr Ajis and all the staff that I came in contact with at the N.H.S. St Richards Hospital Chichester.

My experience has been very good. Mr Ajis has always been polite and informative when explaining procedures and I have no complaints. I would certainly go back and see him again if the need arose.

After what had been a very unhappy experience over three months under NHS care, when an Achilles' tendon rupture had deteriorated rather than improved, my first consultation with Mr Ajis left me feeling confident, hopeful, well informed and cared for. Over the course of my treatment Mr Ajis was frank and open. His explanations of my condition, and the options available to me, were clear and concise. His professionalism and knowledge was apparent, returning to me the confidence and trust that I would finally recover. The reconstructive surgery I needed was explained to me in detail and I'm pleased to say has been successful. The aftercare I received was exceptional and I always felt that I could contact Mr. Ajis promptly through his excellent secretary or the hospital whenever I had any concerns. I had not believed that I would be able to walk properly ever again and I had lost my trust in doctors, Mr Ajis has given me back both my mobility and my faith in the medical profession. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Ajis's (and his team's) professionalism, expertise and courtesy.

Mr Ajis was extremely efficient in diagnosing my issue and the various different solutions available. Having agreed that surgery was the most optimal solution (after due consideration and a time period during which Mr Ajis remained responsive and helpful) I was quickly scheduled for the procedure and the whole process was smooth and efficient. It was a day surgery which went well extremely well, followed by 2 weeks of rest (elevated leg) and then 4-6 weeks of physio rehab. Everything happened at Goring Hall and my recovery was extremely quick. I'm 57 so age wasn't helping! Two months on from surgery I am fully recovered and the original pain symptoms have completely gone. I can't imagine a more efficient and professional consultation, procedure, and rehab process than that provided by Mr. Ajis and his team at Goring hall.

I have found Mr Ajis to be very helpful and thorough when explaining procedures that he is carrying out.

Very pleasant manner and comfortable to talk to. After the consultation I did want to know more about the procedure than initially given but this was provided promptly via his secretary. I was pleased he was able to reassure me about fitness to ski so soon post op (though I misunderstood the 2week interval was for bandage and stitch removal rather than recovery!) My post op experience was excellent as virtually pain free, just a bit stiff and uncomfortable from bruising, not surprisingly. The only disappointment of the entire process was having to wait 4weeks after the MRI results for the op because he was so busy. I took this to mean he was in high demand, partly due to so many patients taking private treatment now but also for his surgery skills, which I have now experienced myself. I was rather dubious about the My Recovery App, as I am not great with these things and probably shouldn’t have tried to read it while I was still recovering from anaesthetic! However once I went through the exercises with my physio and got used to it, I have found it very useful and it helps to stay disciplined. Happy to recommend Mr Ajis based on my experience, without reservation.

I had been suffering from arthritis since 2015 and had an unsatisfactory experience with an NHS specialist. I looked at Mr Ajis website and was impressed and decided to invest in a private consultation. This was very professionally conducted and set out three options, I elected to go for an Ankle Arthrodesis and the procedure took place at Goring Hall in November 2018. After several weeks in a plaster cast I was reviewed by Mr Ajis in January 2019 and was provided with a support boot for a further six weeks. At each stage X-rays were reviewed. Over the following year I slowly increased my exercise regime and am now running again and playing short tennis. Most importantly I am now completely pain free!

I have been under the care of Mr Adam Ajis, for the last two years, following a broken ankle, I have had two surgeries plus steroid injections, in January of this year he recommended that I try a Plasma injection, this is not covered by my insurance unfortunately as it’s not proven to help with my particular problem which is arthritis in my ankle. I proceeded with the plasma and paid for this myself. I am amazed at the outcome of this procedure, which is: I am completely pain free (which I haven’t experienced in almost 3 years since my accident) I also have gained almost full movement and now walk without a limp. It’s early days but at the moment I have been pain free fir five weeks now and I am delighted with this result.

I had lump on foot for years put off the operation thinking I would be unable to work. Operation a complete success just thank you enough should have had it done years ago! Back to work as an Electrician running up and down stairs and working off steps. Can now also wear normal footwear. Just really pleased with the outcome .
