Mr Amit Shah has been a consummate professional throughout my medical treatment. We have discussed and agreed my treatment path from our first consultation and from an orthopaedic perspective I would highly recommend him.

Seen mr shah for a consultation roughly 12 months ago through my health insurance due to hip pain. I had an MRI scan and he told me it was clear and to go back to physio. Pain never got any better so I went for another scan a few month later that showed a torn labrum.disappointed

The surgery performed by Mr Shah has had a truly transformative effect on both my physical and mental health. No longer housebound and in constant pain, my life is back to being active and fulfilling. It does take work (physio) but it really is worth it!

I had an all round excellent experience with Mr Shah as my consultant and my total hip replacement carried out at The Spire Hospital, Blackpool. I really could not fault the experience I had except that the NHS never did contact me for post-op physio!

I cannot put into words how highly I think of Mr Shah and his team. They were all friendly and put me at ease for my operation. Mr Shah, although being very busy has always been clear in explaining the procedure and allaying any fears I might have had.

I had a hip replacement in February which was a great success down to Mr Shah doing the surgery. During my hospital stay all the staff were friendly and cared for me very well.

Can’t recommend Mr.Shah enough. He rang my wife when the surgery was over to let her know all had gone well and I would be back to my room soon. He is strict about doing exercises BUT it is for your own benefit,you only get out what you put in!

Mr Shah is a very friendly consultant, who is very helpful and was very good in explaining my options, way forward and what to expect after my operation

Mr Shah and all the team members involved in my care could not be faulted. I am walking pain free and with both legs being equal in length, as before. I cannot praise this surgeon enough.

From my initial consultation to my post surgery meeting on the 19th March 2021. I cannot speak more highly of my satisfaction with the manner in which I was treated by Mr. Shah a most pleasant understanding reassuring Consultant with a sense of humour.

Despite the Corona Virus Mr Shah and his team provided excellent care during my stay at the Spire. The knee is functioning superbly and painfree. I can do everything I could do years ago and wouldnt hesitate to recommend his services as a surgeon.

Mr Shah replaced my knee and straightened my leg, it is like a miracle. I did all the exercises before and after the operation and can now walk normally, kneel and climb stairs and ladders without pain. Mr Shah is a wonderful kind and caring surgeon.

The care I received at spire and Mr Shah was outstanding, all staff friendly, the place is really clean, the food is delicious, can't rate this place high enough. Thankyou to everyone who works here

Mr Shah put me at ease from start to finish. He knew I was nervous about the operation but he and his staff looked after me the whole way through, even contacting my daughter after the op. I am very happy with the result and am now pain free.

Everything was excellent, felt comfortable and no nerves once I stepped into the hospital. My other knee will be ready for an op. I will not hesitate to have it done HOPEFULLY by Mr Shah and his medical team plus gold stars to all other staff members.

I felt I had first class service and civility Mr Shah was very helpful as were all his staff .Since my hip operation i had had no trouble a total success.

Mr Shah was very willing to answer questions and offer explanations in a friendly and enthusiastic way. I hope that he carries out my remaining procedure.
