I went to see Prof Sidebottom with a long standing TMD issue. He listened, cared and understood my situation. He is a surgeon who is surprisingly good with people! I left the appointment feeling supported & I now have a comprehensive TMD action plan.

Thank you. I am a firm believer that listening to the history rather than making assumptions is the foundation of a good diagnosis. Similarly, as a surgeon, the solution is not always surgical and we should embrace non intervention with as much passion.

Very professional and friendly all staff ready to help which makes things easier at what can be a worrying time.

Mr Sidebottom has a warm and friendly manner instantly putting you at ease. I saw him as an outpatient, he listened to me answering all my questions. He explained everything very clearly. I wish there were more consultants like him. Highly recommend!

Very efficient

Excellent- I can’t fault my treatment thus far. Mr Sidebottom is friendly and personable. My procedure and ongoing treatment has been clearly explained throughout and any questions I have are always answered. I would highly recommend Mr Sidebottom!

The process for securing an appointment for a scan is a little random as you need to keep checking with the department to ensure your appointment is being progressed but once there the people and facilities are first class

Professor Sidebottom was diligent, caring and professional throughout the consultation. He considered all aspects of the patients well being and not simply the condition in isolation. He involved me in decision making and discussed all options clearly.

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry that the wait time was not satisfactory. The paediatric anaesthetists are currently very busy in the NHS with catch up work and therefore children's lists are few and far between.

I cannot recommend,or thank, Andrew Sidebottom highly enough. He thoroughly explained everything to me, answering all my questions. Most importantly, just 3 weeks after surgery, I am delighted that I am virtually pain-free for the first time in 3 years!!
