The team were excellent and I would definitely recommend Mr Zambarakji who will hopefully be doing my right eye cataract in the future. I suggest that the Eye Drops chart fit with the day of surgery and paper information should arrive before the operation.

Very good.

Having been diagnosed with a macular hole, Mr Zambarakji clearly explained the diagnosis and the clinical procedure, a vitrectomy to rectify the problem. Mr Zambarakji’s quiet and calm approach was reassuring as was his obvious experience and expertise in this field of ophthalmology. Mr Zambarakji was even gracious enough to live with my humour and probably to him my well worn jokes! With the procedure now complete I can personally say to anyone facing the same to have no fears. The procedure took just over an hour under local anaesthesia and mild sedation. Throughout, the atmosphere was calm and without pain. Furthermore, fear of post operative pain or discomfort was in my case completely unfounded. No headaches, no soreness at all. There is some inconvenience with the need to prone face down. This is made more comfortable with the hire of the facedown kit and having people around, podcasts etc is helpful. The commitment will pay off and take it as an opportunity to relax and reflect. If you are facing this prospect in future weeks, with Mr Zambarakji and his team you will be in good hands. My thanks goes out to them all.

For over a decade mr Zambarakji’s care has been exceptional. This year I have had cataract operations in both eyes. I have been extremely pleased with the care and attention given at all times.

The consultant was very efficient and very caring. My cataract operations went well, even though I was terrified initially and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome.

I strongly recommend Dr Zambarakji. It was very reassuring to be treated by such an expert in the field of eye surgery. From start to finish I felt very confident in his decisions and management, delivered in a very courteous and understanding manner.

Mr Zambarakji is excellent and was able to sort out my eye problem after cataract surgery very quickly because he knew it is very important to me to be able to drive as my husband has dementia.

I had an evening cataract op, I realise that they are quite routine but I think I would have appreciated a short visit from Hadi before being discharged that same evening just to confirm everything went OK.
