After much research I chose Professor Emsley as my best neurologist option in the NW of England. He diagnosed my problem and subsequently answered numerous questions with patience and consideration. As my condition progresses I trust him always to have my best interests at heart.

After 4 years of not knowing why my health is declining, professor emsley did a few different tests and within my half hour appointment, he had more of an idea. I would highly recommended him.

The consultant was excellent, after waiting months for an urgent appointment via the NHS, this appt was made and completed within a week. All the patients notes were sent through from the GP so all the test results were at hand.

I got the answers I needed and diagnosis straight away which was good I appreciated. However, this doctor was quite abrupt and came across like he didn’t really care. Quite unfriendly as well. There was a lack of sympathy and concern. On the whole it was an okay experience

I found Prof Emsley very friendly and genuinely eager to help overall. However it was not a fruitful meeting. Because I described how my symptoms were effecting my life so much, it came across as me having no physical symptoms and so my search for help continues.
