Dr Omar Abu-Bakr a wonderful human; not just his surgical skill and professionalism but also his empathy and loving care for his patients. On a different note the clinic's information/ stationery needs a redesign. Confusing and over complicated.

I would suggest taking list of medications and any previous / past consultation notes and dates.

Dr Omar was very friendly, accommodating and honest. He made me feel at ease during what was a difficult and uncomfortable procedure. He clearly cares about his work and his patients.

Clinic seemed professional. Doctor very knowledgeable about veins. He spoke very quickly, said an awful lot, repeated the same information at times. Found his manner patronising & his chat formulaic, felt like his patter was very well used on every patient

Thank you for taking the time to review us and I am sorry you felt I was speaking a lot and that my manner was patronising. But I do strongly believe I do need to explain all the details to the patient in the simplest way possible and I do repeat some of the key information to be sure that they are well understood and remembered by the patient. The reason why I was speaking a little bit faster at some stages is because I want to give you as much information as possible in the consultation time. Hope that explains my point of view. I had very severe varicose veins which required extensive treatment. I found Dr Omar to be thoroughly professional, explaining all the stages involved. He was understanding and kind; I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

First treatment went OK. Injections more painful than expected, can't say I'm looking forward to my second treatment . Maybe I'm extra sensitive, but Omar is a pleasure, so kind and funny and I have every faith in him.

I would recommend without hesitation. This is the second time I’ve seen him and as before he explained everything fully was very kind, patient, polite and helpful and so skilful the treatment didn’t hurt at all. One couldn’t ask for more

I would suggest patients could be offered help with removing bandages and dressings after EVLA. I have osteoarthritis and have a problem bending so trying to remove the compression stocking was difficult.

The documentation could be improved with a 2 page explanation in plain English of the various stages of treatment indicating things to be prepared for and how the patient can better play their part. I.E. in ablation any pain needs needs swift reporting.

I came with the idea that I wanted, if possible, to find out the exact cause behind the problem with my legs. The care I had received from my surgery was very good but was only treating what was visible on the surface.

Thank you very much for your kind review.On the other hand, any treatment starts with a thorough and very detailed Doppler-Ultrasound scan that will lead us to the roots of the problem (the main veins that are causing the problem). Based on that scan we do tailor the best treatment plan for each case apart. That treatment always starts from the roots and after that treats the superficial effects seen on the surface, and from here comes the different stages of the treatment. So if your superficial, visible problem was treated, then you can be sure that the deeper cause was treated as well, otherwise the treatment would never work.Thank you again for your kind review and I hope I have clarified any misunderstanding. Location of clinic was very central. Receptionist, Natasha was very welcoming and helpful. Dr Omar explained everything to me to from what causes varicose veins and what would be the best treatment option for me, the consultation was not rushed.

I was able to meet with the very experienced Dr Omar with minimal delay. After an ultrasound scan to determine the issues causing an ulcer in my left ankle I found him to be very pleasant, knowledgable and reassuring. This gave me a lot of confidence
