Both the pre and post operative care was thorough and I was treated with patience and respect. During the surgery I was reassured and despite a personal incident with a hearing aid Miss Founti was able to reassure me (despite my being unable to hear anything).

Ms Founti explains procedures & why they are necessary in a clear way that is easy to understand. She is patient & I have never felt rushed. She is a caring & talented eye surgeon & has always made me feel safe & reassured.

More space and privacy when in consultation would be appreciated. More consideration given to persons with severe sight impairment with regards to accessibility, lighting and decor contrast would be great. An accessible talking toilet would be very helpful.

I would definitely recommend Ms Founti .She takes the time to clearly explain what she is doing and why. It is so reassuring , you know that she is really experienced in her field. You feel safe in her hands which is so important with your sight.

Miss Founti is approachable and very sensitive to the needs of her clients. she supervised one of her students who did my stent implant and she was there through out the procedure which was very reassuring. i hope she does not move on because I feel confident in what she does .

Over 5 years I have found Ms Founti highly professional in the clinical and surgery services . A brilliant communicator, she explains clearly and involves the patient in decisions. I have also observed excellent leadership and coaching, with great respect and dignity for all.
