Appointment was slightly delayed. Otherwise, appointment was most helpful and professional.

Dr Anne Mitchener is an amazing surgeon, really friendly and provided thorough advise on the treatment. Aftercare treatment has also been spot on! My recovery has been so good with all the help and advise recieved from her. She is an amazing surgeon!

My gp referred me to Mrs Mitchener approx. 8 years ago due to a serious medical complication with my back. Initially I was petrified, concerned about my physical welfare after considering the operations that lay ahead of me. However Mrs Mitchener was with me ever steps of the way. She always took her time and she never rushed any appointments . She is not only fixed my back problem but provided me with the reassurance, honesty that was required. I can safety and solely say that I have enormous, faith and sincere gratitude to her in restoring my health back to where it should be. I really can’t promote enough how my consultant has given my life back with participating in all my life activities.

I have been under the care of Mrs Mitchener for some time, initially through Consultations and following that she carried out 2 successful separate Spine operations on me, which have transformed my life. Her concern for my safety, pain removal and general quality of life improvement was obvious to see as was her approach which made me feel totally at ease when contemplating the major operations I had to undergo. Anne made sure the incisions that had to be made on my neck followed the natural curve line already present reducing the visual impact. She has a natural caring quality that is sadly lacking in many other consultants. From a communications point of view, Anne made it extremely easy for me to get in touch, always made herself available as necessary. From experience, not something that other Consultants do.
