Doctor Malik was very direct and kind with me from the first minute! My partner is British, but my English is not great, nevertheless, he made me feel calm and comfortable with his patient manner, which allowed me to explain my problem. As a hearing impaired person, I had a middle ear infection and I guessed it was due to improper cleaning by a private company. I asked the GP in vain to fix the root of the problem. Apart from giving me antibiotics, they refused to deal with me... and the problem still persisted! (Hissing, crackling sounds in the ears, pressure in my ears, piercing pains...) So after a long search and because of the good reviews, I chose this private doctor. I don't regret it! He removed safely the debris from the eardrum, which is otherwise very dangerous terrain. He did this so precisely and painlessly, wow! In addition, he gave countless useful instructions for my future. If you have any concerns about your ears, don't hesitate to choose Dr Vikas Malik.

Unfortunately I would not recommend Mr Vikas Malik if you wish to have a diagnostic appointment for a blocked nose. My experience was that I paid £200 for a 5-minute appointment where I was told that if I wanted any sort of diagnosis I would need to pay for a nasal endoscopy.

Mr Malik was extremely thorough and reassuring. I had a laryngoscope during my initial consultation which was very straightforward and no where near as unpleasant as I expected. Mr Malik listened carefully to my explanation of symptoms. He then explained tests he would need to do. He carried out a nasal camera inspection showing me the details as the probe progressed and explained the anatomy. I found him to be empathetic and reassuring.

I was treated by Mr Malik as an outpatient seeing him before my surgery, on the day of my surgery and at a follow up appointment several weeks later. He behaved in a professional manner at all times and explained the surgery to me in depth answering any questions I had at the time. He was very approachable, friendly and I felt comfortable discussing my health problems with him. I would be more than happy to be referred to him again in the future if the situation arose.
