Fantastic service - all went well - was back playing football after 10 weeks

Mr Tim Harrison and the staff at Clairmont, Sheffield provided me with a first class treatment and service from referral to discharge. Every aspect of my hip replacement and recovery were discussed and explained in detail, which was most reassuring to me as the patient. More importantly, when an unexpected UT blockage occured during recovery it was identified and dealt with without delay, in a most professional manner. The whole medical and support team are to be complimented on their dedication

I am delighted with my experience at Claremont and the treatment I received from Mr Harrison and his team regarding my recent hip replacement. The whole experience has been professional from beginning to end, consultation to discharge. I would recommend the hospital and Mr Harrison to anyone wanting a similar procedure in the future and I thank him enormously for my new, pain free future.

All of the hospital staff were excellent, explained things fully & were very pleasant & caring. The surgery was carried out very efficiently & I found the commentary from the anaesthetist interesting and helpful. Post op I suffered severe urine retention then a DVT followed by a PE. Your staff excelled! With no fuss or problem they fitted a catheter, removed it & tested me 2x. Arranged for another excellent consultant to solve my urine problem and gave advice throughout. DVT/PE treated at A&E.

Tim's a good communicator - clear, patient, informative, clarifying each step. Surgery went well - very effective and again good communication throughout. After 6 months my hip is working very well indeed and I am back to full fitness, walking 7-8 miles with no problem and gym 2-3 times per week. The whole process was very efficient and I have already recommended tim and Claremont to fellow osteoarthritics.

I am extremely happy with the results of my hip replacement surgery and with the treatment I received from Mr Harrison and the staff at Claremont. I would recommend Mr Harrison wholeheartedly.

Mr Harrison and the whole team have been fabulous

Excellent service. I’m now 15 months post hip replacement surgery and I am pain free. I’ve just finished a 5km walk without any problems and regularly complete over 20km on an exercise bike. Prior to the surgery I could hardly walk and couldn’t use the bike. It’s no exaggeration to say that the surgery has completely changed my life.

Have no complaints at all regarding doctors, nursing staff or treatment.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Harrison to anyone. All the staff from beginning to end of the experience were helpful, kind and very professional. I hope this review is helpful.
