I had surgery for multiple abdominal hernias in November at New Victoria Hospital under Professor Frampton after seeking a second opinion. He was friendly, reassuring, and explained everything clearly. The surgery used a no-mesh technique and my recovery was surprisingly quick, with minimal pain. As a 77 year old who has never been in hospital I was more than a little nervous facing my inguinal hernia operation. I needn't have worried. Adam with his friendly, professional manner explained the whole procedure making me feel relaxed and worry free. The operation went smoothly and I was up and about within two hours and have remained pain free. All of the staff at the hospital including Adam's team were helpful and friendly.

I recently underwent a hernia operation at Nuffield Guildford. Prof. Frampton’s initial consultation was clear and concise; he clearly and comprehensively set out the options for treatment. He identified the potential benefits and risks so that an informed decision could be made. Prof Frampton provided excellent support throughout, both immediately before and after the procedure, and at the post-operative review; in general he inspired confidence throughout the entire procedure.

Professor Frampton de-roofed a large cyst in my liver very skilfully using a Robot to navigate past important structures etc & through adhesions from old operations, resulting in minimal operative consequence to my abdomen, & to me post-operatively. I awoke from g/anaesthetic without the significant pain I recall from several past 'open surgery' type operations. I was only in hospital 48hrs & left with a little discomfort & 5 small access wounds. Great recovery in 2wks, thank you Prof Frampton!
