Mr Ahmed Elattar is a top Birmingham consultant gynaecologist, gynaecological oncologist and gynaecological cancer surgeon. He specialises in diagnosing and treating ovarian cancer, along with performing keyhole surgery. He completed training in Egypt, Newcastle, and Birmingham, and was awarded an MD for his ovarian cancer research, as well as a diploma from Auvergne University in France after a 2-year keyhole surgery fellowship, in which he developed the laparoscopic skills and techniques that make him a leader in his field today.
