Ms Anna Raurell is a fully qualified consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon based at the Nuffield Health Hospital in Derby. She specialises in breast reconstructive surgery, soft tissue cancer surgery, labial reduction, body contouring, and microsurgery.
Ms Raurell received her plastic surgery training in both the UK and Australia and is registered with the General Medical Council and National Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. Whilst also being a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, she is the East Midlands Training Program Director for Plastic Surgery. This role makes her responsible for trainee plastic surgeons in the area, ensuring they receive exceptional training and meet all curriculum requirements before they are qualified as practicing consultants.
Ms Raurell ensures she upholds her high standard of patient care and operating techniques at all times. She is actively committed to developing new and improved reconstructive services in the Nottingham area which includes post-cancer vaginal and perineal reconstructive surgery.
