Review about Mr Anthony Perera

I visited Mr Anthony Perera regarding an unsightly bunion on my big toe, a small one on my little toe and ligament damage. I am really pleased with how he treated everything using keyhole surgery, particularly on my bunions. The outcome is amazing! It’s like a completely new foot. There has been very little scarring which is fading away already.Recovery has been really manageable too. The care prior , during and after surgery was second to none. would highly recommend.

I met with Mr Perera after more than 10 years of increasing pain in my heel/ankle and numerous physio/doctor appointments. He instantly diagnosed the problem explaining all the symptoms and the progress of the problem. He outlined a treatment plan involving keyhole surgery with detailed explanations of what, why and how. The treatment was completely successful, I was walking within 2 weeks and starting to run within 2 month.

Mr Anthony Perera is a very knowledgeable consultant he is kind and reassuring and has definitely made a difference to my life moving forward after my foot surgery.

My mum has suffered with a very painful bunion for many, many years, but was very hesitant about having surgery. So we decided to visit Mr Perera to see what her options were. Mr Perera had a look at my mothers foot as said he could do “Keyhole bunion surgery”. Mr Perera explained the procedure and was clear and informative and you could see that he just wanted to make my mums life easier and was so reassuring. He carried out the procedure and it has changed my mums life so, so much easier

Mr Perera listened to what I said regarding my ankle. I have a long time sports injury that has given me a lot of pain for fifty years. The treatment I received has been first class. Mr Perera is the only Doctor that has made a difference. I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

The whole experience of my Achilles and heel bone surgery has been excellent, recovery was quicker than expected and help and advice was always available when needed. Would go with mr.perera again without hesitation (though I hope not to have too).

Following a parkour injury to my ankle I have been misdirected by the NHS for years. I decided to get a second opinion on my sports injury with dr p to be informed it was an ankle fracture that has been ignored. To have direction & a solution on this is life changing for me!

Mr Anthony Perera carried out a complicated repair on my wife’s right ankle! She couldn’t walk properly and because of the skill of Mr Perera she now walks much better than she had for years! His demeanour and bedside manner were brilliant and I would recommend his work!
