Mr Aso Mohammed is a highly esteemed and experienced consultant knee and hip orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in total hip and knee replacement surgery, revision hip and knee replacement, lower limb arthroplasty surgery, and knee arthroscopy, but to mention a few. He currently practises privately at the Swansea-based HMT Sancta Maria Hospital.
Mr Mohammed, who was appointed consultant knee and hip orthopaedic surgeon at Swansea Bay NHS University Health Board in 2014, is an expert when it comes to treating degenerative joint conditions, and has, to-date in his medical career, gained an extensive amount of experience in relation to contemporary management techniques as an effective way of treating hip-related problems in adults, hip revision surgery, and dysplastic hips.
Mr Mohammed successfully completed both house officer as well as senior house officer specialist surgical training throughout various highly established hospitals in London and Essex starting in 2001. Following this, he went on to undertake his orthopaedic surgical training in 2007 in the Basildon region, before having the opportunity to complete a lower limb arthroplasty surgery fellowship in Swansea in 2013.
