Prof Nutting knew within 5 minutes of seeing me what my condition was - squamous cell carcinoma - said it was eminently curable and recommended a 6 week course in radiotherapy. I am recovering well, and my PET scan showed no surgery of my neck was needed. Fantastic news indeed!
