I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Macutkiewicz . From our first meeting he was reassuring and friendly but always professional..He listened to my concerns and answered my questions with sensitivity,. I appreciated the time he took explaining the details of my operation and scans .I left every appointment confident in the knowledge I had been seen and heard , also very responsive via email if necessary. Christian is one of the most caring, empathetic surgeons I've ever had the pleasure to meet. His vast experience means you are in safe hands and his cheerful and reassuring nature means that you know he has your best interests at heart. Would thoroughly recommend.

I knew I'd made the right choice the minute I met Christian! He immediately set my mind at rest and answered all my questions and concerns in a friendly and reassuring way. He truly knows what he's talking about and exudes confidence and expertise in his field. The procedure was carried out as agreed and six weeks later I feel like nothing has even been done, I cant even see any scars! I cannot say enough good things about Christian and would highly recommend him!

I received excellent care from Mr Macutkievicz both before, during and after my abdominal surgery and cannot commend him highly enough. He was very professional, amiable and really took the time to explain the procedure in the detail I needed so that I felt ready and informed before my surgery.

Christian is a rare beast; a highly competent and experienced surgeon who also has a friendly and empathetic personality. He listens, explains, operates and listens again. No question is dismissed as trivial or irrelevant and he makes sure that before any procedures are done you know why you are having them, what the pros/cons/risks are, and that you are fully informed and understand what's happening. After surgery he again answers all the questions you may have.

I spent more time reviewing hernia specialists than the operation actually took. That's because I wanted to be assured that I was getting the very best. Christian is the very best in the UK and as a patient I can now testify to that! From the first consultation right through to the procedure, his professionalism, his assurance, his kindness and right down to earth approach is exactly what I wanted. I couldn't recommend him enough as well as his team at Spire who were all as equally fabulous

I genuinely cannot recommend Christian enough. He was recommended to me via a work colleague and I’m so glad he was! Was so descriptive and detailed and understood completely through every twist and turn I had. He deserves a Michelin star if anything!

Score of 4 for the facilities as the coffee area in reception was full of half finished cups and was very untidy with no clean cups.

Succumbed to Gallstones & advised surgery was required, recommended to see Christian and he soon put my mind at rest when meeting up, talked me through the whole process in fine detail & booked in, Operation went well without any problems at all and thankfully alive & kicking.
