Review about Mr Daniel Dowen

Mr Dowen went above and beyond with my treatment and care. I visited him extremely worried about a new hip pain ( previous cancer diagnosis ) . After a thorough examination he organised scans and results within a matter of days. Mr Dowen is extremely knowledgeable and very considerate towards his patients needs. I highly recommend Mr Dowen and would not hesitate to contact him again for any further orthopaedic care.

I have had both a right knee replacement and left hip replacement under the care of Dr Dowen. Throughout both treatments, I found him to be exceptionally professional, efficient, thorough, and highly skilled. His care and expertise inspired confidence at every stage. I feel very fortunate to have been treated by him and, should I ever require similar surgery again, Dr Dowen would without hesitation be my first choice.

I would highly recommend Mr Dowen to any of my family or friends. All my pre and post op appointments were on time. The facilities were clean, comfortable and in good condition. The staff were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Mr Dowen was very approachable he explained my condition and treatment clearly and consise offering me the time and opportunity to express any concerns. I felt confident and secure in his care. I have quality of life back due to Mr Dowens expertise.

Mr Dowen is a fantastic consultant. He is very friendly and approachable and has a great bedside manner. He understood my problem and was able to get a diagnosis quickly. He made sure I had the right treatment to get me back on my feet quickly and I was able to run my marathon. An excellent experience and I would highly recommend him.

I had a full knee replacement on 9th June 2025. My experience from the initial consultation through to surgery and follow up care was excellent. I was pain free four weeks following surgery. I now have full movement. I would certainly recommend Mr Dowen to anyone who requires orthopaedic surgery

I received 1st class treatment when I had my hip replaced by Mr Dowen and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, I'm currently waiting for my 2nd hip replacement in the near future.

Everything about my experience has been incredibly efficient and professional. After my initial consultation regarding knee pain, I very quickly underwent an MRI and had a follow-up consultation with Mr Dowen to explain the results. This was done with care and clarity, and I felt confident that I understood my injury as well as my options, and his recommended next steps for treatment. In my case this was physio, which has already been effective in reducing my pain. Thank you!

I was in extreme pain from a former hip operation Mr Dowen completed complicated surgery which went exceptionally well I am now pain free and have full mobility for which I am extremely grateful
