Everything about my experience has been incredibly efficient and professional. After my initial consultation regarding knee pain, I very quickly underwent an MRI and had a follow-up consultation with Mr Dowen to explain the results. This was done with care and clarity, and I felt confident that I understood my injury as well as my options, and his recommended next steps for treatment. In my case this was physio, which has already been effective in reducing my pain. Thank you!

When I was referred to Mr Dowen I was suffering from a limp and significant hip pain. He performed a total hip replacement and I am very pleased to say I am now totally recovered, with no pain or disability . Mr Dowen is a very professional, caring and extremely competent surgeon. He initially did a hip replacement for me which was perfect . This year we had no hesitation in returning to see him and he carried out a knee replacement surgery which went exactly to plan , even the stitches were perfect . He is genuinely interested in ensuring that the patient has the proper care and the best outcome . I am extremely pleased with my surgery .Note you must start the physio within days.
