With over 20 years’ experience, Mr Morris consults privately at Nuffield Health Cardiff Bay Hospital. He also practises at the University Hospital of Wales and supports athletes as a match day surgeon for the Welsh Rugby Union.


Mr Morris graduated with First Class Honours from the University of St Andrews before qualifying with an MBChB from the University of Manchester in 1999. He undertook his ophthalmology training in Glasgow and Newcastle and further honed his skills with a prestigious fellowship in oculoplastic and orbital surgery at the Vancouver Eye Care Center. Additionally, Mr Morris spent time working with oculoplastic surgeons in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills.


In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Morris is Chair of the local Nuffield Medical Advisory Committee, serves on the Nuffield National Medical Advisory Group, is Lead Ophthalmology Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is Chair of the Steering Group to create a new College of Sport and Exercise Medicine.


Mr Morris has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals. He also leads a trachoma project in Kenya and is the trustee of a local community link with Tororo in Uganda. He serves as an advisor to the British Boxing Board of Control and is a Trustee to the Keeler Scholarship Board.
