Dr Derek Connolly is a leading Birmingham cardiologist specialising in the detection, treatment, and prevention of coronary heart disease. Well-versed in all aspects of general cardiology, Dr Connolly is the Chief/Primary Investigator in several large clinical trials in cardiovascular medicine and was responsible for developing one of the UK's largest cardiac CT programmes as well as one of the UK's first primary angioplasty programmes.
