Mr Eduardo Normando is a highly esteemed consultant opthalmologist with over 15 years of experience based in London. He practises in general ophthalmology but concentrates principally on glaucoma, corneal abrasion and ocular emergency, as well as uveitis, dry eye and blepharitis.
Mr Normando undertook his medical studies at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Italy, graduating with an Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2005 and a Doctor of Medicine in 2006.
He is passionate about medical education and holds a PGcert in university learning and training from Imperial College London. He also works as a senior lecturer at the university, shaping the minds of future ophthalmologists.
Mr Normando is also committed to research in the ophthalmology field, focusing on innovative non-invasive retinal imaging techniques and their applications in assessing novel therapeutic strategies for ophthalmic and neurodegenerative diseases.
He is a member of several medical organisations including The European Ophthalmological Society and The European Glaucoma Society. He is the glaucoma section secretary for the European Association for Vision and Eye Research and a board member of the ophthalmology section of The Royal Society of Medicine.
