Eva specialises in trauma, anxiety and relationship difficulties. She works with individuals and couples using evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, emotion-focused therapy and Relational Life Therapy (RLT). Her style is open, thoughtful and engaged. In addition to EMDR and CBT, she often incorporates experiential methods such as chair work and body-focused techniques to help clients move beyond purely intellectual understanding and connect more directly with their emotional experience. - Eva is an amazing listener who will make you leave feeling much calmer about everything. She also is very good with EMDR. I would definitely recommend her and she really is helpful!
- We have been seen Dr Maiwald as a couple and couldn't be happier. She is warm and empathetic but she's also not afraid of telling us what she is seeing going on. We both felt appreciated and supported - and had many laughs together.
- Amazing therapist. She has helped me so much and I’m so grateful to have found her!
- Really recommend
- Eva really helped me to overcome my complex PTSD and understand myself more. I have regained my self-confidence which has honestly deserted me for so many years. Thank you Eva
- I trust my therapist a lot which is really important. With previous therapists I have had the problem that I felt like they were not really listening to me. But with Eva I can always trust that she listens to what I say and I always feel heard.
- I have been working with Eva for a few years now, and she has been great in helping me overcome my problems. Her kindness and openness to several treatment options and ways of working together have been instrumental for my recovery!
