Mr Jonathan R L Wild

Mr Jonathan R L Wild is a highly educated and skilled surgeon, based in Manchester. He specialises in in colorectal and peritoneal surgery, alongside a particular focus on colonoscopy and colon cancer. He currently practises at a The Christie Private Care, a private clinic which is located in the Chrisite NHS Foundation Trust.

He began his medical studies at The University of Sheffield, graduating in 2004. He has a wealth of knowledge, completing several degrees. His most recent academic venture was graduating with a pHD in sciences from The University of Sheffield. In 2014, he was the first person to be awarded membership to the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Following completion of his undergraudate degree at The University of Sheffield, Mr Wild commenced foundation and higher training at the Yorkshire School of Surgery. He also completed fellowship training in Leeds, Dublin and Australia, concentrating on areas such as peritoneal surface malignancy and advanced laparoscopic colorectal surgery. He was awarded the 2018 ACPGBI/CSSANZ Travelling Fellowship to Australasia, which permitted him to visit colorectal units in Sydney, Melbourne and Christchurch.

Mr Wild is also a member of numerous medical organisations, including the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the European Society of Surgical Oncology. Furthermore, he is a JAG approved endoscopy trainer.
