Dr Julian Ormerod is a highly esteemed consultant cardiologist and an honorary senior clinical lecturer. He serves as the clinical lead for the Inherited Cardiac Conditions service at Oxford University Hospitals. Dr Julian Ormerod earned his medical degrees from Cambridge and Oxford Universities and was awarded a PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine from the University of Birmingham.
Dr Ormerod's research focuses on genetic heart disorders, such as channelopathies and cardiomyopathies, as well as innovative methods in implantable cardiac devices, including conduction system pacing.
Dr Ormerod sees adult patients (age 16 or over) with known or suspected heart disease, or people with a family history of cardiac conditions or sudden death.
